Property (Best Bargain for Big South Texas Bucks) Wildlife Management Services has the exclusive hunting rights on several large, contiguous ranches located in McMullen County – prime South Texas big buck country. Each of these free-ranging ranches has been under an intensive wildlife management program, designed and maintained by a professional certified wildlife biologist, for over 15 years. This 7000-acre tract of top-quality wildlife habitat has produced two B&C bucks within the past few years and many more bucks that approached record book scores. This property has produced a number of big deer contest winners over the past few years and has many large, mature, South-Texas bucks for a hunter to pursue on any given hunt. Wildlife of all kind is abundant on the property and hunters will be entertained by viewing a large number of various game and non-game animals. Normally ten to twenty bucks are observed on each hunt and often as many as fifty bucks or more will be seen on any given day. A hunt on this property provides an informal, “down home” atmosphere with good accommodations, great food, and experienced and friendly guides. Although comfortable accommodations are included with this hunting experience, the management philosophy applied to the property has been to invest time, money and energy into producing quality deer instead of providing plush accommodations. As a result, a hunter can expect to see a number of large bodied, mature bucks on most hunts and have an excellent chance to harvest a top-end buck, all for a very reasonable fee. In order to maintain a large number of quality bucks to harvest each year, only a very limited number of hunters will be booked for the 2006 hunting season. A maximum of only four hunters will be on the ranch at any one time. Each 4-day hunt will include meals, lodging and one-on-one guide service. Prices include an opportunity to also harvest one hog, one javelina, one doe, and all the predators that can be bagged. In addition, after bagging one’s buck, hunts for ducks, quail and doves can be arranged for additional fees. Prices: Gold Buck Hunt - $6000 – (any mature South Texas buck except previously identified breeder bucks) Silver Buck Hunt - $2750 – (mature South Texas bucks with scores of up to 145 gross B&C points) Bow hunts are available upon request - please contact us for prices Guarantee: Each rifle hunter will be guaranteed an opportunity to harvest a mature South Texas buck while on their hunt or they can return for another two-day hunt at no charge. |
